Free Online Image Converter
I had to convert a jpeg file to an icon file for a software program I created. So I did a quick search online and found the following site. http://www.coolutils.com/Online/Image-Converter/
It was an easy 3 step process-
- browse and select your file you wanted to convert
- choose the conversion type
- then hit download.
Really simple and it worked really well.
So if you need to convert an image file and you haven’t got the appropriate converter on your computer, this is definitely a site I can recommend.

The Dream I Have – Why I Am Working Online
The reason I started to work online was I wanted to work toword being financially free and not be stuck in a job working for someone else. But it was pointed out to me by a very wise man by the name of Jim Allen that this idea wasn’t a very concrete idea and not a set goal to work towards. He helped me to realise that I had to work out what my dream was, what it was that I was really working for.
So the dream I have is, that is the goal I will be working towards, is to have the money to own my own home in 5 years and to get married. That’s my 5 year goal, maybe a little lofty but at least I know what everything that I am doing is for. Jim also recommended that I flesh out that idea and make it real and detailed.
My dream home is brick home because it will have less maintenance than a timber home. It will be located within walking distance of the seaside so that I can go fishing whenever I like and within walking distance of shops to get the groceries. There will be public transport close by so I can travel further afield if I so desire.
Out the back of the house there will be a covered entertaining area with a barbeque for having friends over for get togethers. There will be raised garden beds for the backyard vege gardens and large rain water tanks to water the gardens.
My home will have a solar hot water system and a solar power system to reduce the bills of rising electricity costs. It will be at least a three bedroom house so there is a spare room for guests and a room for the office.
This is what I’m working towards online – what is your goal, your dream?
I’m wanting to find people to join forces and work together who are dreaming big and willing to work towards their goal. Will you be that person?

Always Check Your Work
I’ve just
learned the hard way again that you should always check your work – test
everything!
I’d set up a capture page on my
domain http://12scbiz.com and
hadn’t gotten around to testing it, meanwhile I’d been getting traffic
to the page through traffic exchanges and some other traffic – hundreds
of visits and no signups.
I finally setup the followup
pages and uploaded them last night. Then I went to test the signup
process. Filled in the form and clicked on the signup button and NOTHING!
It didn’t work! So I quickly went through adding the form code again
and retested it. It works now!
I can only hope now that
everything is working right that some of that traffic will convert to
signups and I will discover some new people to work with building an
online business.
I can’t stress this enough
again – TEST EVERYTHING!!!

Learning To Use Amazon S3
I’m pretty excited. I signed up for Amazon S3 today and have been reading up on how to start using it. I found a couple of free programs to act as an explorer to be able to copy files to and from S3. One of which is a firefox addon called S3Fox Organizer and the other is a stand alone program called CloudBerry S3 Explorer.
Well I’ve used CloudBerry Explorer to create my first bucket and uploaded a simple html file, set permissions so it could be read via the web and got it working! yeah!
So now I’m all set to be able to create those video memberships that I’ve been thinking about for a long while without having to worry about bandwidth issues on my hosting account.
